Covid-19 And Your Safety

We’re all adapting and making changes during these strange times, but the one thing that has not changed is our dedication to keeping our passengers and staff safe.

Be assured that we have implemented a series of enhanced hygiene measures listed below. We ask all our passengers to respect our guidelines and the safety of each other.

Face coverings are not mandatory but if you wish to wear one, please do. Our crew carry a supply of face masks if you require one.

Our crew will be regularly sanitising their hands. We ask that you use the hand sanitiser provided before and after your journey with us.

We are cleaning our vessels thoroughly at the beginning and end of each shift, with all seating areas sanitised throughout the day. Our crew will regularly take a lateral flow test for Covid-19.

We kindly ask for all tickets to be purchased online.


It is with great sadness and disappointment that we report that Ashlin, The Salty Blonde has further mechanical issues and is out of the water for repairs. After our commitment to not let anyone down during the highly successful Alderney Week – working with many charter boats which pulled out all of the stops to assist us – and our determination to continue until the end of the season, this comes as a considerable blow to us and our valued passengers. We do not yet have a diagnosis of what has caused the failure, nor a prognosis of how long repairs will take. We think it is only right not to resume services until we have a boat that we are confident will operate reliably as an inter-island ferry. We most certainly never anticipated this catalogue of issues with Ashlin and can only apologise again for the inconvenience caused to our customers. We are currently in the process of contacting all of our customers and supplying a full refund. Thankfully, we made the correct choice to invest in the Causeway Explorer and Alderney Ferry Services earlier this year. We have been in discussions with them about our customers and they will be putting on extra rotations where possible to accommodate all of our passengers. Visit to book.
